Jera was going to try to post over the weekend but it looks like she didn't have a chance. Natalie is still as fiesty as ever! :) She is still having quite a bit of bradys and desats BUT Jera was actually able to hold her for AN HOUR of KANGAROO CARE (!!!) over the weekend. :) She is still on a respirator, however, they are constantly trying to wean her.

Sorry so brief...just wanted to try to catch you up. Hopefully Jera will be able to post a more detailed thread soon. She sounds great...tired but great!!

As always, THANK YOU SO MUCH for continuing to keep Natalie, Jera and their family in your thoughts and prayers!!!

ETA: I KNEW that I forgot to add something ~ it has been a rough last few days and I just cannot think! :( I am sure that I'll add on a few more ETA's before the day ends. Anyway...Jera's parents have been able to visit off and on for the last few weeks, which really stretched out the dinners (still have quite a few in the freezer)!! Jera is still BLOWN AWAY by the meals ~ they have LOVED the convenience and FLAVOR of the dinners!! She said that she wasn't expecting much since they cook with a lot of complex and spicy ingredients ~ WOW, do they love them! :) THANK YOU...THANK YOU...THANK YOU!!! You girls are wonderful :)

Wow!! An hour of holding Natalie must have been absolutely amazing for them both!! Thanks so much for the update and I hope that Jera will have the opportunity to spend lots of time cuddling her little one in coming days/weeks.

Thanks Sharyn for the update. Sounds like that Natalie is still fighting just as hard. How wonderful that Jera has been able to cuddle with her. It must be so great for both of them. Is there anything else that she needs? More dinners? Anything?

Great news! We of course continue to think of them every day. Seems she finally met my SIL! The strength these little babies have is incredible. Thank you so much for keeping us updated! Please tell Jera we are all pulling for Natalie to be able to come home soon!

I have been wondering how Natalie and Jera are doing and am so glad to hear that things are continuing to go well for that little one! I kind of came in during the middle of their story - but it seems that Natalie should be approaching her due date soon, right? My prayers are with their family.

So glad to hear an update. I was just thinking yesterday that I hadn't seen an update in a while. I bet Natalie looks so different from those first photos that Jera posted. Keep going and growing!
