My little man turned one on Wednesday. He is the best part of my life. He brings joy to every day. He's just starting to give hugs - the really tight ones around the neck where you can feel his breath against your skin - oh, that's the best. Anyway, here he is on his bday. I thought we could all use some smiles around here today - how about posting pics of your little darlings so we can all ooohhh and aaawwww over them :)

Hmmm, Jack needs the chainsaw for cooking - he must be doing it at my house - although here, the chainsaw is needed to cut anything I have cooked! :)

Linda! I didn't realize we'd missed his birthday! Happy belated birthday to your adorable little guy! I can't believe he's one already!

And completely OT, why didn't you tell me to look for your sister's new book (Christmas one). I ran across it by accident today and like an obsessed fan, totally noticed it just because I know what her other covers look like and I knew she didn't have a green one! I snatched it right up!

Why didn't I tell you - you turkey ;) - because I was waiting for her to come into town to sign it for you!! It wasn't out yet when she was here in October so I have to wait until she gets here in December (it's too expensive for her to come for Thanksgiving)! I was even going to be sneaky and go through the Brownie Fairy (Becca) to get your address so it would be a real surprise for you! I'll email you off the boards to get it.

Thanks for wishing Reeve a Happy Bday. We just spent the day as our little family - we won't have his party until Thanksgiving weekend when most of the relatives are in town.

Happy belated birthday to your little man. He is sooo cute. What a handsome guy with his big blue eyes. It really is neat when they start giving hugs. My little guy has started giving kisses too. Of course, he started by kissing the dogs but has now decided his mama is worthy. (Most of his first words are dog related too!) Thanks for sharing the picture. I can't get the board to take any pics lately.
