What other Advent Calendars are out there? I stumbled across these two - have you?

Those are GREAT! I really, really like the first one!!!! We already have one, I can't remember where I bought it from. It is hard to come up with itty bitty things for each day...but worth the effort.
Last year my yonger child would not have appreciated recieving something every other day but this year I think it might work. So that's only 12 each. I better get cracking.

Darn it! ;) I threw out that catalog so I wouldn't be tempted by anything! I'm off to the website now..........

That is too funny!! :)
I posted these exact 2 Advent Calendars in
the Advent Calendar thread located in the "Around
the House" forum.
(Another poster attached the link to this thread
in her post.)

Those are cute! We have one, I can't remember where we got it. I want to say it was somewhere uncreative like target...but I forget. It will be fun when Jonah really understands the whole thing.

I love those! But we don't have the space either. We have this one which will hang on the wall.

If you right-click on the picture that you want to do it with, you will get the little thingy where "properties" is at the bottom of the list. Select it, and there will be a URL for the image. Copy and paste the link into the text of your message, and if the site it's hosted on isn't protected, it should work. Usually anything ending in .jpg will work, but I think gifs and other kinds of images work too.

I just saw really nice and inexpensive ones at The Christmas Tree Shop today, I think the were like $10-$15. They had wood ones with all the doors or felt wall hanging ones.

I love this one, too! I actually saw it last year and finally ordered it this year. I think it's a good & fun way for me to introduce the religious aspect of Christmas to my 3yo - we aren't very religious but I want them to know the traditions I grew up with.
