Stupid question, when a new item is coming out, you can pre-order for a particular price. Does that mean the price will go up when the item is released?

The Polar Express movie comes out this Tuesday and I'd like to get the copy with the Brio train. Currently it's $32.16 and qualifies for the precious free shipping. I'm trying to figure out if I need to jump on this now, or can I wait until it's released to see if I can find it cheaper.

thanks for any help.

I think the pre-ordering option only means that you will be sure to get a copy, and possibly faster than if you ordered after the release date. I don't think the price will necessarily be the lowest.
