View Full Version : Need your help: What red wine is a "dry" red?

I don't normally drink red wine, so I'm not sure which ones are considered "dry". I'm making Wassail for our holiday party today and I need to know pretty quickly - is Merlot a dry wine?

Cabernets are drier than Merlots which tends to have fruitier tones. HTH
