I like upbeat sing-a-longs... songs we know, sung by popular singers who don't ruin the music, that I can sing along with and DS can learn the words with.

Any suggestions???

my favorite one we have is the Nat King Cole CD, he's very clear on the words and the music is nice. :)

"Ella Wishes You a Swinging Christmas" is my hands-down favorite. She (Fitzgerald) does all the classics with a jazzy twist and I LOVE IT! I've had mine for a good dozen years or more, but I've seen it on sale at Starbucks previous Christmastimes.

well, these aren't necessarily popular/current singers, but they're good holiday music IMO!

The Christmas CDs i play the most are the Time-Life Treasure of Christmas mixes that i got a long time ago. now you can find them easily (I had to call the 800 number). there's a volume one and two, each is a two disc set.

I also play Jim Reeves--my dad played this all the time growing up and nothing says holiday more than this for me! the words are very clear.
