As we all know... Juliet does fantastic work - I thought I'd share two projects she has finished for me very recently!

edited to add... It's hard to believe it, but these photos were taken only 8 weeks apart at the same place - I'm already waxing nostolgic (isn't that the phrase?) for summer...

The Christmas card is absolutely lovely! And the dog card is a hoot! That's a fine specimen of a Chessie. She looks magnificent in her element and the caption is especially appropriate. My favorite thing about Chessies is their come and play with me woof. (Can you tell we have a Chessie too?)I would be delighted to get those cards in the mail.

Love them both and am insanely jealous LOL ;)

I've been wanting to do our cards for weeks and DS bonked his eye and had a small bruise, so that only recently disappeared. He hasn't been too cooperative with our little photo sessions LOL so I have yet to get a decent pic.

Yours are perfection!!!

Thanks - we really love her, and are sad that she's getting on in years. The three weeks we spent at the lake this summer really were great for her - she swam in the lake for a few hours every day & slept the rest of the time - and somehow knew right where to stand up on the dock to beg for her nerf footballs!

When Hunter was about 10 months old, I had a college student who worked for me paint her portrait in watercolors - to this day, it's one of my favorite splurges - I'm working on having a portrait done of Grace, but don't know where I would hang hers, as Hunter has the place of honor in this house ;)

Thanks - Actually, Julia put together the Christmas card with a different photo, but there was so much snow at the lake this weekend that I decided to try to get a snowy pic & succeded - there were three I was choosing between - the one on the card, and the two below - I felt so so bad asking her to change the card once we'd agreed on what we thought was the finished product - but it's not often I get a snow photo before Christmastime!

I just bumped into this post while searching for sites for holiday cards - they are gorgeous! Who made them??

she was awesome to work with - and my indecisiveness didn't drive her crazy, either :)

For the Christmas card, I gave her a link to a card I wanted to duplicate - the Invitation was made from scratch - she came up with the concept based on the photo - I just tweaked the text.
