Does anyone knw how the PayPal coupons work?

Hi All,

Does anyone know how the coupons work for Paypal? I have been laboring over getting a Kinderzeat and I finally just bought one on Ebay (the PP 10% off code pushed me over the edge - had to grab a good deal!)

After I entered the coupon code, my new (lower) total due was posted. But the PP payment confirmation email is saying that I paid the seller the full price at the top of the email where is states: "This email confirms that you have paid $*** USD using PayPal." But the discount is listed below in the payment discounts...I am confused.

I paid by cc so it will take a day or two to process - and then I can find out for sure. I'm just wondering...

The seller gets the full price of the auction. I think paypal eats the cost of the discount as a promo, so you only pay the discounted amount.

Which seller did you buy from? I've been eyeing one also!

Thanks for the info! I knew it had to be something like that. I wound up getting the kinderzeat for $165 with the discount which I think is a pretty good deal. I almost got it for $153 - but other ebayers started to bid in the last few hours.

I bought from "MyShowerExtras" - I went with the raspberry after debating on the color for SO long. On this board some moms say it looks like a tru red (which I want) and some say pink-red (which I don't want.)

If it turns out to be a pink-red then I think the seller has a 10 day exchange polocy. I will probably exchange it for a blue one if they have it.

Which color are you looking at?

I was looking for a blueberry one, which the cheaper sellers don't seem to have.
