CONGRATS!!!! I don't have a little boy, but I can tell you little girls are sooooooo much fun to shop for and dress. It's ridiculous! Just remember to pace yourself or you will end up with WAAAAAAY too much pink! :) Have fun!

Did I miss the news that you are having a boy? Heck, I amy have even congratulated you on it already. PG brain gets the best of me sometimes. In any case, congratulations!!! Boys are absolutely wonderful! I think my DS can be a bit of a mommy's boy sometimes and I love it. I look forward to the day when he is taller than me and hope that he will still think his mom is something special. :)

I had my big ultrasound yesterday at 22.5 weeks and didn't fully intend to find out the baby's gender (we didn't know with DS), but curiousity got the best of me and DH and we found out. We're expecting A GIRL! We are really excited to have the good fortune to experience raising a boy and a girl and we feel incredibly blessed. DH and I both think that DS hung the moon and we would be thrilled to have another little boy like him, but I have to admit that I am excited about having a mother-daughter relationship to look forward to in the years ahead.

Of course, most importantly, she appears to be a healthy baby and we are most grateful for that. My OB says that she is VERY active (I knew that already!) and that she is growing well. DS was huge (10 pounds, 5.5 ounces at birth), so I am hoping this little girl will be a bit smaller, but I expect that she will be on the large end of the spectrum. She's already measuring a week or so ahead of schedule.

I'm going to have to spend some more time in Reality Layette to figure out all the adorable little girl clothes! :)
