Gift ideas if you only knew the email address of the recipient

A friend of mine sent me a gift certificate from Amazon when I had my baby and it was a nice gesture on her part. Now she has a baby and I don't know her address or phone number (she moved to a new house recently). I'd like to return the favor but I don't want to do the same thing she did, ykwim? Any gift ideas that can be sent just using the email?

Can you email her and say that you have a gift for the baby but need to get her address? If not, does she have a wish list set up on Amazon or a baby registry at Target, BRU, or any place like that?

Thanks for the reply. I emailed her asking for the address but I am not sure if whe is checking her email, she must be pretty busy as her baby is less than a month old.

Someone told me that One Step Ahead will let you send g.cert. via email. I haven't tried it though. Nupe
