If so which one did you use and would you recommend it?
I did not have one with my first pregnancy and this time I want to get one. I am now in my second trimester and its getting harder to get comfy at night.

I could not get comfortable until I was given this by a friend. I don't know if I would have spent money on purchasing it for myself, but after using it I would have paid anything for it!

Hope this helps!

Yesssss...

DH came home with it and said, "Do you know how much this is????" I said, "Yes, and it was the best money you ever spent!"

Can get them at BRU, as well.

I had a long tubular pillow (Sleeping Bean) and didn't find it that useful. It was long and unwieldy for me, and tended to slip around too much.

However, I then got another type -- two oblong pillows with a flat velcro section between them -- and found it very useful from about month 5 onward (I am a side sleeper). You might consider this type if the tubular kind don't help.

Here's a picture of it, listed as "Maternity Pillow", the first photo on the page (I didn't buy it from this site -- can't recall where I got it).

I had the same one as Saccade and loved it. Couldn't have slept/lived without it for many months. I tried some others, but that was the only one that worked for me. I think different ones do work for different people though, and unfortunately it's sometimes trial and error.

Oh yeah baby! I've been using and enjoying the Boppy Pregnancy Support Pillow, from Target ($34.99). It's from the same makers as the Boppy breastfeeding pillow. It's curve shaped to rest between your legs, and support your belly in front as well. It has helped alot with muscle pain.

Last time around I used a blue triangluar wedge shaped one that had a back support that connected to it--LOVED IT! But now it's lost in my messy basement somewhere, so I had to buy a new one ;) I think I bought that one at Babies-R-Us or Baby Depot. I really liked how it supported your aching back as well.

I used a body pillow during my last pregnancy and honestly couldnt have slept with out it. I didnt know they made those c shaped ones or i would have had one. My belly was huge (9lb7oz kiddo and I only gained 27lbs).
