How do you hang a shawl?

Do you all know of a nice, inexpensive way to hang a decorative shawl? I have some beautiful ones from around the world, but I haven't figured out how to do it. I would love to frame some of them, but the cost is prohibitive!

Could you mount those idividual shelves, scattered on a wall(s), and drape one over each? You may need to put some kind of small weights on top, to secure them, but that could be hidden at the back of the shelf. Or you could put related decorative items on them maybe (a vase and shawl from China, a beautiful crystal piece with a Czech shawl, a stein or cuckoo clock from Germany?) Ive seen those shelves at places from Target to Hobby Lobby to Lowe's, and they come finished or plain, in several lengths.

I found some quilt clips! That seems to do the job.
