A good site for comparisons (thanks, Kris!):

We used them all - Clearblue Easy, EPT, store brands, whatever we could find. We didn't test at all until I was already late, and it was more than a week before a test finally came back positive - it was First Response.

That's what I'll reach for if and when I need to test again.

Since I was expecting a negative test by just being late *again*, I went for the cheapie CVS store brand. After 8 years of not preventing, I was pretty much in shock with the positive test.

I love that site!

My personal faves are the internet cheapies and the First Response Early Result. With the most recent pg, I got a faint positive on a FRER at 13 days past ovulation (a day or two before my period was due).

My doctor (RE) actually recommends the pregnancy tests available at the Dollar Tree since they are very accurate (up to 4 days early) and test a very low amount of HCG...I think it's like 25-30mIU/mL. A lot of the pricier tests are FAR LESS sensative. Sad to say, but the dt tests have always been correct. But you need a cup to pee in. I think they're just about as accurate as the AIMsticks available online, only no shipping & you can get as many or as few as you need (right away).

I agree with Larissa on the Dollar Tree pregnancy tests.

I did always buy the ones online, though. They are super inexpensive compared to the stores and have a high sensitivity.
