WOOOHOOOO! MY 500th POST! (Took over three years, but....)

I have no idea how you ladies with THOUSANDS of posts do it. Do you have your computers surgically connected to your typing fingers? As it is I spend HOURS AND HOURS on here every day!

I came here to find out about alternatives to the horrible fate of a Graco stroller. ;-) I just want to thank all of you for the advice, support and bargains I've gotten here ever since. This is a great community!

At this rate DD#1 will be six before I reach 1000 posts, so I figured I'd better celebrate 500!

Happy 500th! For me, I found that the ticker seemed to go faster after 1000. It's probably because I am a WOHM and sit at a desk all day, so I check in frequently. If I was a SAHM, my numbers would probably be lower. (Less procrastination!) Kids are more demanding than a desk job! ;)

Congrats on your 500. I am in the same bucket. DS will be a young adult before I can hit some of those numbers.

Congrats, Peggy. I'm embarrassed to say that I have over 2000 in less than a year. Yes, surgically attached... or welded... something like that!

You know what's funny, IRL I talk waaaaaay too much. I think I just don't chime in unless I have something specific to add. I've been on the internet so long that I remember when poeple accuesd others of "wasting bandwidth."

So to everyone whose birthday or pregnancy I haven't added my congrats to, I mean no offense. I do wish you well, I'm just trying to turbo trhough the postings. And lots of times i get a post typed out and then think "nah, that's not really adding anything," so I don't bother to hit "post message."

Anyway, thanks for being here and being such a great community that *does* congratulate everyone on pregnancies and kids birthdays, cute pictures, etc. That's really one thing that makes this place great, so I guess I should chime in more!
