For our holiday cards this year, we are sending a sweet little picture of our daughter "reading" a book. For the greeting, I was going to put "Wishing you a storybook Christmas". My husband was like "What is that supposed to mean?" To me, it makes perfect sense. What does everyone else think? Does this make sense to you? What would you think it means?

I think it is darlin' and makes perfect sense! Like "White Christmas" and nostalgia and Disney and Courrier & Ives, and all those perfect classic Christmas images.

Makes perfect sense to me. My DH was 'confused' about my card quote as well.

Your card sounds precious.

Sounds perfect! Count me in as another person whose DH didn't get the quote on some of our cards x(

Thank you all! I was thinking maybe I was losing my grip on reality. Turns out, it's my husband that is (not that I didn't already suspect that)!

What is it with men not "getting" it? I'll have to make sure to send our cards only to men that have women in their lives to "interpret" for them.
