I picked up a bag of mini MINT Kit Kats (limited edition holiday candy) at Target today. Ohmigod are these things good!!!! They remind me of Girl Scout thin mint cookies. Yum...

Jerilyn, I must have missed you in the candy aisle! I was over by the non-chocolate items since I was putting together a care package to the South Pacific. I'll have to try the mint Kit-Kats - I've been in Thin Mint withdrawal since the last Girl Scout in the neighborhood stopped selling a few years ago. . .

I think I might cry. This gestational diabetes thing SUCKS. Maybe I'll send DH out for some and tell him to hide them from me until the baby is born - I'd hate to miss out altogether!

Have you tried the Mint M&Ms? My favorite. We bought out the entire stock at our local Target: 28 bags. OMG why did I do that? Oh yeah, because they are only available once a year and DH wanted to spoil me -- or kill me, I can't really tell.

I'm sorry, Ry. :( Definitely tell your DH to stash some in the back of the freezer for after Max's arrival. I need to take my one-hour GD test as soon as I get back from holiday travel. How many days will it take for a sugar overdose to clear out of my system? ;)

I am addicted to Starbucks hot chocolate and just had my first peppermint h.c. of the season a few days ago. Yum! You can get it all year round (just get a h.c with a shot of peppermint syrup), but I only order it this time of year.

We went to a meeting in Montreal, and they have them in Canada on a regular basis. They are soooo good. We still have one being saved in the fridge...

Mint sounds intriguing in a KitKat... but the dark chocolate... mmmmm...

My advice is to eat a hard-boiled egg before the test, and nothing else, and then go take a walk around the block while you're waiting. I kick myself every day when I'm drinking water instead of OJ for not having done that, since I failed by such a small margin.

And DH is hot on the trail of mint KitKats! :)

I once had orange kit kats in Canada. Chocolate with orange flavor, that is. I'm not sure I've ever seen them in the US, except for the ones I brought back with me. Mmmmmm.

The dark chocolate sounds yummy - might have to send DH searching for those, too!!

I think they also had bags of mini assorted-- milk, dark, and white chocolate Kit Kats-- but I may be mistaken about the variety.

Bought one for my husband, he is the Kit Kat lover.
I tried one bite and thought it was delicious.

I got the mint Kit Kats tonight at the Long's drugstore in Lahaina on Maui! hahaha..
this was after asking my friend back home to check out Target for me. For some reason I thought they were only availble at Target. Imagine my joy when I discovered them at Longs!
My dh thought that I was insane when I shrieked out loud! Then I had to explain to him that one of my online boards was discussing these exact candies and that we must get them! I searched high and low for the M&M's to no avail!
I stuck the Kit Kats in the freezer and after about an hour had a couple.. they are tiny and delicious! Two thumbs up!
