Gift card swaps

I was given a $50 gift card to a store that sells very specific products (bath and body works) that I don't need right now. What I do need desperately is clothing. Have any of y'all had any experiences with the various gift card swap sites on the internet? Any other ideas about how to make this money work for me? Thanks.

I have never tried it, but www.cardavenue.com has been recommended to me.
