Update *** Brain, Child subscription group discount

Another small thing to add: I just got an email that said 1 year subscriptions are $14/year, or a 2 year subscription for $32 in case someone is interested in 2 years. That doesn't make sense, right? I'll email them back to double check. Also, this discount can be for new subscriptions or renewals. If yours is a renewal, please mention that in your email. Thanks!

I just called them - the discounted price is $14/year. I can just collect all of your info and send it to them by email. You can then call them with your credit card info individually. So, this is what I need from each of you: please email me (put "Brain, Child" in the subject line) your BB ID, real full name , address, and contact info (phone and email). After I send everything in, I will send out a group email (and BCC each of you so hopefully your email addresses will stay private) to tell you when you're able to call in with your CC info).

Please do this by Monday night of next week. Any questions?

Please count me in as well. I just did a search and read in the previous thread about the magazine. Some described it as "crunchy." I wasn't quite sure what "crunchy" meant. (Still don't really. lol). Therefore I wasn't sure whether this would be for me (since I didn't BF, don't buy organic food, and our house is overrun by plastic toys, etc. GASP! ;-) ) even though so many of you gave it good reviews (in the thread about magazine recommendations) and I do trust your opinions here.

I just went to Brain, Child website and read the editor's note from their previous issue. This is what she said: "...We hope this gets us out of black-and-white territory and away from dogma. We hope it fosters compassion, or at least a little respect for difference..." Throw in also articles on "activism without judgement of other mothers"? I am sold! :)
