Ryan called earlier to share the wonderful news that Max was born healthy and safe today (1/5/06). He weighs 8 pounds 5 ounces (if you've seen Ryan, you know how little she is, so this is quite impressive!).

She says he has curly brown hair, is absolutely beautiful and looks just like his daddy.

I know she will want to share details of her birth story, so I won't hog all the great news. Just wanted to get the quick word out to her on-line friends that they are all happy and healthy! They plan to be home from the hospital on Saturday.

Ryan, hope you are resting and enjoying some of that long-deserved, GD-forbidden candy! xoxoxo
