Does anyone have a small "spot cleaner" for their carpet?

Rather than a full size one? This is one that you would take out for the occassional emergency spot rather than doing the whole floor?

Our cats have a puking habit and I'm wondering if maybe we should invest in one of these to keep up with the spots?

It works well, but hardly ever gets used as I forget that I have it until times like this! :-)

I have a Green Machine (I forget the brand name of it). Works great.

I believe we have the Green Machine as well (I think it's Bissel) and you're right, it works great! I just had to take it out the other day and I was thinking, "Gee, how come I don't use this all the time!" (The answer is that I forgot we actually had it because we have mostly hardwood floors with area carpets now.)

I have a Bissel Green Machine as well. I have had it for over 5 years. I bought it when I had an elderly cat, who pucked alot. Fortunately the cats I have now, have less sensitive tummies.

It still works great, when I pull it out to use it. I wouldn't mind having a full size machine for cleaning larger areas, but we have a small house. Storage space is at a premium. So this works well for small areas.

I once used it for a red wine pill on cream carpet. I just used the suction to get the wine out, then cleaned the carpet. It is great to be able to get those bad spills before they sink in and dry out.

This is funny, moments ago we got a red wine stain out of the carpet with our green machine. Love it!
