My parents are looking to rent a beach house in Myrtle Beach for a week-long family vacation. Any website referrals or rental companies?

Needs to be 4 bedroom min., a pool would be nice but not necessary, and sort of mid to low price range.

This is for May.

Thanks in Advance!

I wouldn't rent in Myrtle Beach.

I'd rent nearby, in Ocean Isle, or Sunset Beach.

A lot less crowded on the beaches, and you can pop over to North Myrtle in a blink.

We rent every summer in Ocean Isle. We use Williamson Realty. They are fabulous, and I highly recommend them.

Another nod for Sunset. It's beautiful! We use Odom Realty there.

We also go to Ocean Isle, usually a couple of times a year. Williamson is good, and so are sloanerealty.com and cookerealty.com.

There's a development on the west end of the island called Island Park that I would recommend. There are a couple of pools and tennis courts, and the beach isn't as crowded as the east end. I think most of the houses in that development are 4 BR. Myrtle Beach is about 45 minutes south and it's a very easy drive. We love Ocean Isle- but if neon lights, crowds and smoky bars are your thing, you might want to stick to Myrtle.
