My 16 m.o. has been walking around gagging as if he's nauseated and this evening a little of his dinner did come up but not much. He hasn't had much of an appetite either. He's had extra smelly b.m.s (sour/acidy). He had a fever (103.5) over the weekend but it's okay today. I'm going to call pedi tomorrow if things aren't different then. Otherwise, he's playing as he usually does and is pretty active.

I'm going to look this up but you gals are so great at 'hitting the nail on the head' where this stuff is concerned I wanted to hear from you first.

TIA

ETA He'll eat oatmeal and fruit but nothing else.

My oldest son did a lot of gagging when he was teething. He was and is very sensitive to food textures or anything else that is in his mouth. He also had some watery b.m.s and perhaps a slight fever when he was going through this. But 103.5 is pretty high. I think your little guy may very well be teething but it also sounds like he had some type of bug. It may not hurt to have him tested for strep if you are still seeing some symptoms.

Thank you for the input.
We went to pedi. DS has a stomach virus and teething.
I hate that I can't do anything for his tummy cramping.
Otherwise, he's alright...no strep, I mean.
