I thought I read a few months back a post on a web site where everything is set up for you and you just download your photos. I remember it was a payed service. I don't have the computer background to create my own free web page (nor to I have the time), so I thought I would try a pre-done web page. Thanks for your help.

If you want to create a web page for your dc, check out:
http://www.babyjellybeans.com

It's 8.95 a month and you basically just plug in your info and upload your pics!

I've made my own using www.homestead.com. It's pretty easy. I keep my photos on shutterfly and link to shutterfly from homestead. Works well.

Shutterfly also has an "Album" option where you can give out the address to friends/family and they can view whenever. You can add comments and album titles. It's free and doesn't expire (supposedly). If you don't need bells and whistles and just want to show photos, it's super easy and the added benefit is you and/or your friends/family can order photos directly.

www.smugmug.com is what I use.

It is a pay service but the uploads are unlimited - you can send em 25gb of stuff if you like - only the bandwidth is limited - and at 4gb/month traffic for the basic service that's more than the average person will ever need. Feel free to use this code for $5.00 of the annual price (29.95 as I recall): CNoQFjNg9RpYk - they offer a free 30-day trial I believe.

It's amazingly simple to use and is rarely - if ever - down. You can upload any size photo you wish - it automatically thumbnails them for you and you just direct them to the appropriate gallery you previously created.

We use zoomshare.com We don't pay for anything and we load pictures on it and links and a blog of sorts. It's really easy to create and use. I have very little computer background, but this site walks you through it in a simplified manner.
