I was pleasently suprised! Midwives/OB wanted me to have weekly NST's plus an ultrasound starting 1/23. I politely told them no thanks, but after some research decided to submit to the ultrasound yesterday and the NST's starting when I go off the heparin (next Saturday). That way we both have our piece of mind and I won't have to be strapped to the NST machine for three extra weeks (that I still feel are unneccessary). Extra testing is usually called for in cases like mine, anti-phospholipid syndrome or APS.
The results of the ultrasound were normal. No photos to show but they wanted me in and out because they were running behind, 2 hours behind actually. I had my weekly appointment right after and had another 45 minutes wait there, yuck.
So I am waiting on my GBS results, and am a finger tip dilated. Baby is head down healthy and approx 6 lb 9 oz. Not that I put much validity in their weight estimates though.
All is good though! Thanks Beth, Heather and Jera! :)
