Well what would you do, parents want to send us on vacation.......

my DH & father went to the travel agent today, there is a deal NEXT WEEK at Paradise Island, we would have to decide by tomorrow morning if we want to go. It's VERY short notice, of course I would need to buy Sydney summer clothes, nothing fit's from last summer, will it be hard to find now ?? Plus I don't have much to wear & I have been pigging out, not knowing I'd be in a bathingsuit anytime soon !

I wish I could be so excited about it , not worry about these things plus about Sydney napping there & sleeing in a strange crib, can't make up my mind !

We could always go away a different time but It might be months if we don't go now

what would you do ??

I would go!! Just head down to Old Navy for clothes. They have a ton of summer stuff right now and it's not too expensive. You can buy the rest of her summer wardrobe when you get back.

Don't forget resale shops or asking friends with older babies for clothes for the week. Bring one of Sydney's blankets along for the scent/feel. She'll be ok.

If you don't take that trip ... I will!!! Just go!! Don't stress too much about napping. When we were in Disney I was worried about that too, but the heat, swimming etc... just knocks kids out. You will be amazed how quickly she dozes off. I also didn't stress about putting my DD in the stroller to get her to go to sleep. If you can get a suite - it would making going to sleep easier, but if you can't (we didn't have one) just hang out in the bathroom while she goes to sleep. Bring your own crib sheet, lots of extra zip lock bags, roll of paper towels, and tons of disposable sippys.

Pack your bags hun. Target has their summer stuff in. I just bought Nathan a swim suite & aqua shoes for our trip to FL this week. If I can take Nathan for 5 days flying at 930 at night ( DH messed up) Sydney can make it :) Have fun

I'm so not a "fly off the seat of my pants" person but I'd go!!!

Sometimes it's fun to not have lots of time to worry about all of the "what ifs" and just do something last minute! Think of it as an adventure :-)

I'd definitely go! All the summer stuff are out now so you could pick up stuff for decent prices at Target or Old Navy.

I'd be gone! I also saw summer stuff out at my Target, and of course Naartjie (even a bathing suit!). I think Janie & Jack and Gymboree had some summery "resort" stuff out as well.

PACK YOUR BAGS! Maybe I've been in New England too long, but a chance to go to Paradise Island in February? You can't pass that up!

If I remember right, most places are putting summer clothes out anyways, so you could just grab a few cute tshirts and shorts for Sydney and be ready.
