Had our OB appointment yesterday

The Doctor estimated that I am nearly 7 weeks along and told me to come back in two weeks so he could do a repeat u/s and get a more accurate due date.
I *think* that the real reason he wants me to come back is because he didn't see a heartbeat. I didn't see one, my dh didn't see one, and the Doctor did not point one out as he usually does.
I know it might have been a couple days too early, but still, I saw dd's at my first appointment and I was only 5 weeks, 4 days.
The Doctor didn't mention this to me, but I figured asking the mamas here to send some healthy baby vibes couldn't hurt, even if it's all in my head!

Did you have a full bladder? I went in for an "emergency" ultrasound (I had spotting) early on and she said the only reason they could see the heartbeat was because I had a hugely full bladder.

It is a bit early still, and I know a few people whose heartbeat wasn't detected on US until another week or two after where you are.
