Update again: Spotting - please send sticky vibes my way

Update: I just want to thank everyone for the well wishes. I am holding up as well as can be expected. It was a sucky valentine's day, though. Thankfully, it looks like this will resolve itself without needing a D&C. I have standing orders to get blood tests next week & the week after to make sure my hormone level is decreasing. So at least physically we are moving in the right direction. Of course, emotionally it will take a bit longer. In the meantime, me and my friend chocolate have been spending a lot of time together. Again, thanks to everyone for your concern and your kind thoughts.

Update: Well I guess I shouldn't be that surprised. They said it looked like the baby stopped growing just after the first ultrasound we had. It measure around 7 weeks. Sigh. This stinks. Now I have to decide whether or not to have the D&C.

I am so sorry. I too had the SAME thing happen. Baby measured right on and fine at 7 weeks US and then at 12 weeks had an US and there was no HB and baby stopped growing around 8 weeks! It SUCKS but it happens often (people just don't often find out until they too have a MC and everyone starts telling you, oh I had the same thing happen!). HUGS to you.

Just wanted to say that I had 2 D&C's after both MC's and each time was fine. It was nice to have closure and know it was over.... there was no way I could wait for my body to deal with it (just wasn't happening). The recovery was fast, very little discomfort. If you want to talk more feel free to email me outside the board!

HUGS and Good luck.... and just an FYI I now have a beautiful 9 month old baby boy after those two MC's... so don't get discouraged!!!!
