On which day of the week did you go into labor?

Just curious! If you have had more than one baby, answer for your 1st. I've heard that most women go into labor on Friday and Saturday.

Sorry that I had to put Monday & Tuesday together, so if you went into labor on one of those 2 days, would you please specify which?

I have 3 kids, I voted for the first which was a Thursday. I had my 2nd on a Wednesday and my 3rd on a Thursday. I have the middle of the week thing going on I guess LOL.

I've heard that most babies are born on a Tuesday but that was an old study so it might have changed.

I voted Sunday because that's when I really went into active labor and realized what was going on. But I lost my plug and had some contractions on Saturday.

I went into labor on early morning Thursday and Toby was born late Friday evening. Fun.

With both boys I went to the hospital on Monday and had them on Tuesday.

My water broke just before lunchtime on a Tuesday. I labored through the night and DS was delivered via c/s on Wednesday morning at 6:44 a.m.

I'm scheduled for a c/s on a Tuesday this time.

My water broke at 7:00a on a Saturday. Never went into labor on my own though so at 12:30p they hooked me up to pitocin. Mallie was born the same day.

With #1 went into labor on Wed (so I answered Wed), but really checked into the hospital on Thurs, but he didn't come until Friday (via c-section). With #2 it was a Tuesday. I went into very early labor so they decided to get him out before I really went into labor, which was a week before my scheduled c-section.

I voted Mon/Tuesday for my second. It was 7 min after midnight Monday morning that labor with Wes started. I never went into natural labor with Carson, my water broke on a Wed., but I was sent home to labor on and went back on Thursday morning to be induced.

DD1 - went into labor at 3am on a Monday and had her around 5pm
DD2 - went into labor at midnight on a Sunday and had her 1 hr. 10 min. later

During the hospital tours both times, they said Mondays and Tuesdays were usually the busiest delivery days mainly because doctors like to schedule inductions and c/s on Mondays.

#1 I was scheduled for induction on Monday, went into labor the previous Friday, delivered on Saturday.

#2 I was scheduled for induction on Monday, went into labor Sunday (day before) and delivered on Monday :)

Seems for me all it took was scheduling the induction to go into labor! LOL

I'm in the Monday/Tuesday group and honestly I'm not sure which I would really be....or maybe I shouldn't even respond since I didn't exactly go into labor.

I was sent to the hospital on a Monday after the NP didn't like DC's movement (or to be more accurate, lack of) on the monitor.

They ended up starting to induce labor Monday night....which wasn't really "taking"....just had small contractions... no real pain...just crampy.

Tuesday night (exactly two years ago tonight, BTW) we ended up with a C-section.

Both my boys were born on Fridays. Colwyn was induced on a Friday morning and born that afternoon, and with Lachlann, I went into labor on Thursday night and he was born early early Friday morning.
