Wow, my ticker must be off! This is such a surprise! :) Kaya's birthday is not until the 22nd, but that's okay. I can't believe she's going to be 2, either!!! It has been a wonderful 2 years on these boards and our experience as mother and daughter (and father) have been greatly enhanced by my friendship with all of you. Thank you so much for you good wishes and all your support. It would have been a much more difficult and less enjoyable process without you. :)

Aww...you guys are so sweet! I'm so touched so many people wanted to wish Kaya a good birthday! We're having a combined birthday playdate with her playmate this week (yes, Elmo will be the theme because he was on sale at the local party store and everyone recognizes Elmo, even my DD who doesn't watch TV). I'm hoping DH will be able to stay home for the party and take lots of pictures, but in any case, I will share some pictures. I still haven't managed to convince Kaya that cake is good, so I may or may not have a cake picture. ;)
