Ok, I got sucked into the previous post about tea drinkers. I went to the adagio website and checked out the ingenuiTea. It looks really cool! It seems like some of you out there have it, do you really like it? It makes one cup, right? I'm very tempted to get one, so push me over the edge!!

Thanks!

I do like it. It's a very good design for steeping loose teas. I just rinse it out and pour the used tea into the disposal. If you fill it all the way up, it will make a large mugful. If you are using a regular sized mug, you'll have a bit leftover. I usually give DD the bit that's leftover and we have a fruity, no caffeine tea time together.

I love mine. We use it at least once a day, sometimes several times a day (when we're sick). It's great for making loose teas because the leaves can separate and move freely. It makes a large mug if you fill it all the way to the top. For your favorite mug you can just figure out how much you need to fill it. Then depending on the leaves you're using, you may need more or less leaves. Again, there is some experimenting involved. But that's the fun part. :)

We just make a cup, rinse out the leaves (if we're only using the leaves once--some of the green teas can be used twice or more) into the disposal and rinse out with water. It's very easy. Every once in a while we'll put it on the top rack of the dishwasher for extra cleaning.

Thank you! Where did you buy yours - did you order from Adagio, or were you able to buy it locally?

If you saw my previous thread, you already know I'm loving mine. ;) I've been drinking tea at least one or two times a day since I bought it. Before that I probably only broke out the tea once every other week or so.

I bought mine from Adagio. I searched for other online sellers and it appears it's theirs exclusively. You could probably email them to see if they sell through b&m's anywhere.

The pot will hold just a hair less than exactly two cups of water. They say it holds 16 oz., but I think it's closer to 15oz. (not really a big deal though!).

We bought ours through our local tea shop. So they do sell them in B&M stores.

thanks again! I'm off to go find one. There are so many afternoons where I'd like a cup of something, and this sounds like an easy way to be able to do that.
