Okay, so most of my black socks have now bit the dust and I desperately need new ones. I prefer casual/inexpensive, but our Sam's is no longer carrying the large packs of them. :( Any good suggestions of where I can find some black socks (Online or B&M)? They don't need to be dressy, they can even be athletic. I just don't want to have to pay more than $3 each, since I need a lot of them.

Thanks!

Eileen

I usually do pretty well at Marshall's. They are usually name brands at a reasonable price (Im a red tag shopper LOL)

I was also going to suggest Marshalls or TJ Maxx. I picked up a pack of 3 pairs for $6 last month.

I found some Charter Club black socks at Biglots recently. I think I paid 3.99$ for a 3 pack. They are not very thick, but really comfortable. YMMV though. Other than that, I have found good ones at ROSS and TJMaxx as well.

I'll check out Marshalls and Ross's the next time I'm in the area. Oh, and I think there's a TJ Maxx's there as well. :)

I wear lots of balck trouser socks and usually buy them at Target. The really thin ones tend to get holes quickly, so I try to buy the slightly thicker ones. If not Target, I usually get socks like this at TJMaxx.

I just bought some dressy but thick black socks at Kohls yesterday. They were marked down to $3 but rang up at $1.50. So I grabbed a couple more!

I like the ones from Kohls. The Sonoma ones come 3 to a package and sell for between $4.50 and $6, I believe (depending on the sale).

If you don't want to leave your cozy home this winter, try www.sierratradingpost.com for good deals on socks. Also, if your feet are too small for women's socks, try the boys' sizes.

ET add the ".com" though I'm sure it was not needed.
