We are moving next week and Billy has decided that he wants a big bed for the new house so we will be ordering a full-size mattress and box spring for him this weekend. Does anyone have any good recommendations for what we should look for? We are going to put them on the floor to start with until I can find a headboard/footboard that I love. Thanks so much for all the help :)

We bought a Moonlight Slumber ( www.moonlightslumber.com )mattress for Jackson after falling in love with their crib mattress. When it came time for a big boy bed I still wanted to have a mattress that would be waterproof. Their mattresses are completely waterproof but are not plastic feeling. I really can't tell a difference laying on his mattress and laying on ours other than his is much more comfortable with the visco elastic memory foam. We had shopped around and the prices are really reasonable compared to other mattresses and I liked that they had added features of being waterproof and hypoallergenic. I posted a review of the crib mattress in Nursery Necessities and a review of the twin mattress on the Toddler Bargains Board. We love everything about the mattress and considering that we are potty training it has come in really handy!

Thanks Tara,
I just checked out their website and they look great. The price is very comparable to what we'd been looking at too. I'm showing DH tonight and will then order tomorrow. I like the fact they're waterproof too. Thanks :)

And congrats on your new little one :)

Thanks! I am sure you will be really happy with it. We have been so pleased with everything we have ordered from them. We also got Jackson a pillow and it is really nice and has washed up like it is new! (A few accidents on it and one throwing up session) I just can't say enough good things about the products.

ETA...Are you getting the one with the visco. It is certainly worth the extra money. It is so comfortable! DH and I actually like sleeping in DS's bed.
