What do you think of the colors? How about the font? Anyone has any suggestion on a cuter font? Any suggestion is welcomed.

TIA!!

That is absolutely adorable! Everything flows really well. I think it is perfect- great job. Since you are asking, the only thing I would change is adding an exclamtion mark after "with you" so it matches the first line?

Have fun at the party!

I love it (and you found great art for the bottom - I remember your post from before, and this one is much nicer). The font looks nice and clear - and the colors are perfect. How cute!

I love the photo of your DD! How precious!

I agree with the PP about a simpler font. Also, the water bubbles look sort of pinkish on my computer monitor and I think that a brighter white might be better. That could just be my monitor, though!

In any case, I think it's a wonderful invitation as it is right now! :) Great job!

Li, it's adorable! You did such a great job! If you want to look at other fonts (not saying that you need to), I've downloaded lots of free fonts from www.1001fonts.com and used them for invitations and other things. Some of them are a little wonky, but most downloaded just fine for me. Best of luck to you and thanks for sharing your beautiful creation! :)

I think it looks great. What a wonderful picture. Your dd is so cute!
As pp mentioned, I'd add an ! after the second line.
You've inspired me to start working on birthday invites for my two...

I think it's great. One grammar/capitalization question -- perhaps an English guru here will know.... should the W in with be upper or lower case?

I love it! It is wonderfully eye-catching and of course, Jasmine is a doll! I was wondering how your quest to find better graphics would turn out! Where did you end up finding the critters?

ETA: I think the second line would look better without the exclamation point. But that's just a matter of opinion. :)

According to the Chicago Manual of Style, prepositions and articles shouldn't be capitalized. So the "w" in "with" should be lower-case, just like the "t" in "to." That also means that "is" in the first line should be capitalized since it's a verb.

But personally, I wouldn't capitalize any of them. I would stick with

"Jasmine is turning 2!
We'd love to celebrate with you!"

And FWIW, I liked the original font better. That said, I think the invitation (photo and all the fish) is adorable!

I think it's beautiful! I really like the original font better then the simpler font - I think it's much more "flow-y" and "wavy" which goes along with the watery theme, if that makes any sense. The second font is a little on the plain side for such beautiful graphics and that gorgeous picture (IMO, of course :) )

And I'm not big on the second exclamation point either...it reminds me of that Seinfeld episode where Elaine edited a book with exclamation points everywhere - too much "!!!!" going on. I can see being really excited and using an ! b/c she's turning two, but I don't think it's needed on the second line as well. I'd either leave it as in the original version:
Jasmine is turning 2!
We'd love to celebrate with you (you could even do the second line in a slightly smaller font, as kind of a "title" and "subtitle" thing)
or do:
Jasmine is turning 2...
We'd love to celebrate with you!

Also, if you're capitalizing all the words, I'd suggest capititalizing "turning" also, though I'd probably just capitalize the first word on each line.

Again - JMO!! :) If I'd have received it in the mail from you, I wouldn't even have thought twice about anything other then it's beautiful. It's only when people ask about things like that that I start micro-inspecting ;)

no the w needs to be lower case. now that i look at the exclamation points i think you're better off with one at the end of the first line but don't need one after the second line. jmho though!

So adorable! I didn't read all the other posts, so I don't know if this was mentioned...

I would change the font with the Date, time, place, etc to a different font so there is a contrast between the heading and the info. Does that make sense?

What a lucky little girl to have a mommy who puts so much thought into her invitations (and party too, I'm sure!!).

:-)

Have fun!

Oh my gawd is she the cutest thing ever? (After my own kids, that is.)

I think the font is weird (looks like it says she's furning 2), etc.

I'd lose the first exclamation point and use it on second line only. Or no exclamation points at all.

I ended up googling for "birthday invitations" and found this one that had the best resolution. It had phrases in the middle of the graphics. Since the background ocean was in a gradient, I spent hours "covering" the phrases letter by letter using the background color. If you look closely, I can see that it's uneven behind the letters. I hope it's not that noticable.

Thanks so much!

You guys are so sweet. I think I will be changing the phrases to lower-cases. I may get rid of the "!" since two seems a bit much, but I still haven't decided on the font yet.

Thank you guys so much!!
