Well, I have started riding my exercise bike at least once every morning for at least 5-10 minutes. I know it doesn't seem like much, but its one of the few things I do just for me, so I feel better.

So, what nice thing have you done for yourself lately?

NOT ENOUGH.

(However, I have starting swimmming laps again 2-3 times a week. That's been nice! :) )

I finally got to use a manicure/pedicure gift certificate I got for Xmas. It was very nice, but made me realize how little time I really have for myself anymore. I have to start scheduling more me time!

I have started a monthly girls night out with a few friends. We usually just go to dinner and chat for a few hours. I love the time to catch up.and it makes me feel better to hear other moms have the same issues I do!

My mom went out of town and realized that she had a 30min massage certificate at a nearby spa that expires on the 28th so she gave it to me. I go on Tues!!!!

I finally got my hair cut! Admittedly, I had to take DS with me and nurse him under the cape, but still, I just felt *pretty* when it was done. :)

I just woke up from a 1.5 hour nap (while DD napped). It was heavenly!

I'm working on decorating my house. I bought all new bed linens and pillows, recovered DR chairs, and am getting a new DR rug.

I get a facial twice a month. The one hour escape is well worth the price.

Um, I got a massage about 6 weeks ago. The effect has worn off, needless to say.

Off to make coffee for MYSELF. I do that everyday. Does that count?

Found a babysitter for date nights with DH and also joined a gym.

I went out for Sushi with a good friend of mine. We treated each other for our birthdays. The sushi was incredible, as was the wine!

And I just splurged on some good skin care products for myself!

I got a new hair style and I'm in the process of buying all new make-up in completely new colours. I'm now trying to be one of those people that don't leave the house without make-up on. I feel so much prettier these days.I was so tired of being frumpy mom. Now to get back in to shape...

I started doing the exact same thing 6 months ago-- I bike 10 minutes every day, and that has really helped me tackle the baby weight, and I feel more fit. It's not alot of time out of the day (although I'm 10 minutes later to work now!), but I feel better.

I also started sewing again. Granted, I've been making doll clothes for dd, but it's a fun distraction. ;)

bought myself some new clothes even though I am at the end of my pregnancy. I just felt the need for a few new, pretty things!!

DH had a birthday party at 11 this morning (his friend's DD turns 1), but I had a performance at church then a baby shower this afternoon, so he took DD for the day! Don't know when they'll be back, maybe in another hour or so. I consider this to be yet another example of what a great DH I have. Taking DD is an act of supreme bravery, since he only bottle feeds her before bedtime, and has never taken her even to the store alone. This has allowed me to have lunch, an web surf at leisure, which led to this post I'm writing :-)
