Anbody's DC get the flu this season? And did he/she take tamiflu?

Diego has the flu. The dr. thinks we caught it on it's first day. He started taking tamiflu last nite in hopes of lessening the symptoms. He is in decent spirits today but is not eating much. He has also been up since 3am!! We are hoping he takes a nap right now. The dr. said the tamiflu should shorten the course of the flu. How successful was your child's treatment with the tamiflu?

DH and I are also taking tamiflu to preventing gettins sick. Poor Mia is too young to take anything....she currently has a slight cold....I am hoping she does not get the flu.

DS got the flu right before his first birthday. We started him and us on Tamiflu within a couple of hours of symptoms appearing. He was much better within a day or two (I don't remember the actual timeline, but it was soon.), and DH and I didn't get it at all.
