Starbucks expects to serve 500,000 free cups of coffee on Wednesday

Don't forget about Starbucks' first-ever National Coffee Break on Wednesday (March 15) from 10 a.m. to 12 p.m. In more than 7,500 stores, employees will pour tall cups of coffee at no charge.

Ahhh. A mystery solved. That might be why the line was so long today. Oh well, I couldn't wait that long, even for a free cuppa.
