I don't post very often, but I just wanted to let you know how much I love these boards! I've learned so much in the year that I've been here.

Babywearing is fun! I have more carriers than I'd like to admit to DH. Sometimes I think I'm the only person in Los Angeles that doesn't wear DS in a commercial carrier.

Making my own baby food is easy and fun. Too bad DS is scared of any blender or food processor I've tried. So I have to puree when he's at daycare.

Dyson rocks! I'm amazed and disgusted at what I vacuum up each day.

I love, love, love BabyLegs. I've become an addict, especially since I win a pair every month. :)

CDing...I kinda fell of the bandwagon here. It was great during my maternity leave, but I've all but stopped using CDs when I went back to work since daycare only uses sposies. However, I'm loaning my NB stash to my close friend for her to use when she goes on maternity leave in May. ;-)

Vinegar is my new best friend. I spent an hour trying to loosen the valves from my Medela shields with hot water and soap. Then I remember reading about the cleaning powers of vinegar. So I filled the sink with vinegar and hot water. A couple of twists and the valves came off easily! I wish I remembered that tip sooner...my poor fingers and thumbs won't be so swollen.

There's more, but I can't think of them right now. I've spent a lot of money, but it was all worth it.

Caroline

That's great, Caroline! I love it here as well! Congratulations on your year.

Oh, and I wish I'd discovered these boards before getting our vacuum--our Kenmore canister is actually quite good and we have mostly wooden floors, but sometimes I wish we had a Dyson.

And your DS is not alone--Kaya never liked the loud noise of the blender, food processor, or vacuum. She's much better with the vacuum, but still hates the blender/food processor.

Haha - the running joke at our house since getting our Dyson is "I can't believe what filthy animals we must be!" :)
