Ideas for 3 mos. pics with DS and me

I just scheduled a photographer for DS's 3 mos. picture. She will come to our home and take the pics and will even include my niece in some of the photos. I have this adorable blue Sophie Dess outfit for the dressy picture.

Would you do these with or without shoes?

For a casual pic, I'm thinking of getting a cute plaid one piece like these from Janie & Jack

Which do you prefer?

Would you do these pics with or without sandals? If with, I was thinking of Jack and Lily's white sandals.

The pic with my niece will probably be with their Easter outfits.

She's also going to do some pics of hands and feet. I thought about getting a mother/baby pic, so any recs for a white gown for me and DS would be appreciated.

Do you have any other thoughts or ideas for these first professional pictures?

What cute outfits!

Okay, for the first one I would do them with shoes, if you're okay with buying a pair of shoes and socks. For the casual pic, I like the Janie and Jack outfit and I'd go for bare feet.

Sorry I don't have a rec on a white gown :-(.

Few things are as cute as baby feet, so I vote for skipping the shoes. :)

We did our casual 3 month pictures in black and white. My favorite (we had it made into a portrait) is one of DS naked up on my shoulder. All you see is my shadow (I am wearing black turtleneck and jeans) and DS is looking straight into the camera. So I would try and get some naked pictures if you are comfortable with that. I vote no shoes - because they tend to look so big compared to the rest of the baby (and I also think nothing is as cute as baby feet). One of the other things we had done and you may want to consider is something called kissables. They are close-ups of each of DS bodyparts (lips, nose, ears, feet, toosh, eyes). We did them in 2 inch squares and matted and framed nine of them. They are hanging in DS room. I just love them.

I love the Janie and Jack outfit. It just is so sweet and little baby boy!
