I am trying to take care of my looks after the baby now. I am thinking of some webiste/forum where you can discuss about beauty products and mainly for hair styling(I have thick coarse dark hair if that helps which is so unmanageable). Please suggest some ideas!
Thanks in advance

Looking Good is one I like to lurk on:
http://pub38.ezboard.com/blookinggood57812

(It originated as an off-topic board on the Television Without Pity forums, if you are familiar with that wonderful site.)

I used to frequent BeautyBuzz.com and their EZBoard bboard, as well as Emakemeup.com. BeautyBuzz and MakeupAlley both move extremely fast, with several pages of new posts every 4 hours. Emakemeup is still high traffic, but only a couple new pages ever day.

The only place to go for unbias and intelligent answers are www.cosmeticscop.com. Paula Begoun has several books and is a wealth of information.

I also second http://www.makeupalley.com/
Great site with good reviews and suggestions.
They have categories like top picks, most popular and new products.
I just read the product reviews, don't frequent the message boards really, and still have gotten a lot of info.

I really like makeupalley.com too. It has a lot of traffic and you usually get lots of quick responses.

I also reommend cosmeticscop.com. Paula Begoun tests and analyzes hair and beauty projects based on their ingredients, and tells you what they can and cannot do for you. Her books and web site are great!

This is such a fun thread! I am going through some sort of crisis I think: I am so obsessed with make-up products lately!

I just read an article on Cosmeticscop on applying eye-liners and realized that I have been doing it wrong. So thank you much!

I noticed that she also sells her own products. Have you purchased "Paula's Select" products?

I like Paula's Choice/cosmeticscop.com as well. I've purchased a few skin care items in the past (the BHA solution, a moisturizer, and a cleanser) and have been very happy with the quality and price of the items.
