I was at work today and was told that General Chuck Yeager was coming in. I happened to be in the area and was able to meet him and actually be the one to take care of him! I was so excited to be able to meet an American Military icon! Not every day that you get to meet someone that was so instrumental in shaping the way we travel!

Last week at the Wiggles concert, Anthony (the Blue Wiggle) gave me a "high 5"! How cool is that?!?!?! Two famous people in a week. Wonder who will be next week...!!!

That is really cool. I started my fascination with Chuck Yeager when I was in 7th grade -- I read the book! (Ok, I was a dork.) I did many reports on him. What did you guys talk about? Very exciting!

Wow, that is very cool. I would love to meet Chuck Yeager. Where do you work that you were able to meet him? I've been interested in him since I was very young and watched "The Right Stuff." When I was in college, I met and had dinner with the co-pilot of the plane that dropped the bomb on Hiroshima. That was a very interesting night.

Wow, how exciting! I haven't met any famous people really, at least not any that people would know or really care that much about. ;) I've had dinner with 2 Nobel Prize Winners (Chemistry) and invited another to come talk to my students. He was a winner for physics and was totally cool.

Holy Cow!!! Put me on the nerd list. I agree with PPs, I've been a huge fan ever since the book and movie. I've never met anyone famous, but if I did he would be tops on my list. That is so cool!

How cool! I would love to meet Chuck Yeager! He inspired me as a child (along with all of Dad's squadron buddies), to consider being a pilot myself. I never did pursue that avenue as I opted to follow my passion for music instead. :-)

That's so cool. As a pilot, I think Gen. Yeager is way cool. :)
