View Full Version : Ideas of where to find a twin box spring casing/protector for storage?

We're transitioning DS to a twin bed, but we don't want to use the box spring (just the mattress). So we are planning to put the box spring in the basement, but frankly I want it covered up - despite constant cleaning, our basement is dusty from DH's workshop projects, and I worry about the box spring getting ruined. I've been looking online for a casing to zip over the box spring, but I muse be searching with the wrong words, because I can't find anything. Any suggestions? DH just wants to cover it with a tarp and seal it with duct tape (sigh!)

TIA!

Any U-Haul or Self Storage place should sell them. You could also see about getting one from a moving company.

I bought a plastic bag from Container Store specifically made for mattresses.

Thanks to you both for the ideas. I am going to run to the Container Store this afternoon - not sure why I didn't think of them in the first place! :-)
