Fun Activity---Berry Picking and Pick-your-own Farms

I'm planning on taking DD strawberry picking this week. I found a fun site that will show you the farms near you where you can go and pick your own fruits and vegetables and thought I'd pass it along!

Just wanted to throw a caution out there. A friend of mine took her daughter to one of these places and her daughter ate the strawberries there. She then broke out all over her face. She isn't allergic to strawberries but apparently had an allergic reaction to one of the pesticides they use on the product. As you can guess the fruit was not washed in any way before eaten, since they ate it at the farm.
