I think Jeanne is right. I know I have heard that song on the radio before, but I have no idea who sings it. I love Taylor, but in a "he is one of us" kind of way (because of his age, musical choices). I *think* my vote is for Katherine, however my dh is thinking she is a little TOO cute for my liking!! ;)

My vote is for Chris. I absolutely love rockers and I love his shaved head! His choice of Bryan Adams "Have You Ever Really Loved A Woman" was just great!! However, if Chris doesn't win, I hope Taylor does. He is my 2nd choice. I love his attitude and his realness.

I liked the song (and have heard it before) but not the way she sang it...what was up with the "knee" dance? I kept thinking "please get up!" I like her but Chris is my favorite and Elliott is my second choice.

I've also been waiting for an AI post, I'm hooked every season but I don't vote until they're down to 6 singers. I don't spend a lot of time calling in but I do try to get through a few times for my favorite and a couple for my second.

I liked the song and I like her a lot, but that knee dance was very distracting. I would love to see her break out some dance moves once in awhile. The first time we see her getting into the music, she is kneeling the whole time.

KT Tunstall is the artist. She's amazing. I downloaded a bunch of her album and its really great. Not all the songs are exactly like that, but I really really loved that song the first time I heard it and I like her other stuff as well.
I missed AI this week, was frankly kind of over it this season, but I would have really liked to see that performance. Its a pretty edgy song for Katherine I think, that's cool that she did it.

My favorite is Elliot. I love his voice and I am impressed he sings so well with only partial hearing.
I like Chris as well but I think he will do much better as runner-up due to his preferred music style. i'm sure after being on Ai he'll have no problems getting a contract.
Taylor is funny but he just acts so much older than he is! He's what, 27? My mom LOVES him, she says the way he moves reminds her of Joe Cocker.

The minute Taylor said something about "Family Values" I exited the cheering section.

I thought he was pandering and it annoyed me. As one of my profs used to say in red ink all over our papers, "NO JARGON!"

I love the show, but I generally wind up disliking all the contestants. I think Chris and Katherine could have success. Of course, like the contestants I've liked before, I probably wouldn't buy any of their albums. It's a truly odd addiction!

how do you preview on itunes? i just checked out the site for the first time (just to hear this song) and can't figure out how to preview. however, they do make it very easy to buy the song :)

Once the iTunes store opens and you find the song, double click on the title, itunes should play 10-15 seconds of it. If you see the "buy song" you are on the right page.

Oooh, fun topic! It's definitely getting tough to decide at this stage of the game. I actually like all that are left. They're all talented in different ways. For some reason, I've always favored Elliot. I think part of it is because I view him as the underdog. He's not perhaps the "most handsome" guy in the world and, unfortunately, I think some people don't look past this. I love his voice-it's so smooth and just appeals to me. I also love his modesty and the fact that he just seems like a genuinely nice guy. I actually think they're all fairly modest(can you tell I don't like conceted people?! :P ) but I think sometimes Katherine kind of just plays that role.

So while I would like to see Elliot win, I don't see it happening. He'll probably go next. :( I think all 4 have the potential to be successful in the music industry but I think in the competition it will probably come down to Chris and Taylor with Chris being the winner. We'll just have to wait and see!
