How embarassing for her! But I still have to laugh.
BTW... would YOU wear a silk blouse while lactating???

Well, at least she's breastfeeding (I read somewhere that Scientologists use some sort of formula that L. Ron made up).

Can I also say that I hate her that she can wear a belt and jeans already? Everytime I attempt a belt with my pants I still look like a tuffed sausage...I guss that's what a fleet of trainers can do...

She does look pretty tired, poor thing.

Wow, she does look exhausted.

Did she cut her hair or is it in a ponytail?

I thought I was going to open a picture with big wet spots from leaking. Not sure this is much better!

It's not a faux pas.
It's a new fashion trend, that, I believe, *I* started.
It's really all the rage. You should try. Oh, you say, you have? Well, then, congratulations on your fine fashion sense!

How in the world is she not leaking, being 2 weeks post partum and not wearing a nursing pad?!!

She looks like a tired mama!

I wonder - is that a nursing bra, or is it one of those open cup-type things.

There's a word for what TC has done to Katie...and it's not a nice word.

It's hard to see, but I *think* there is a clasp for a nursing bra showing.

She does look really strung out. Did I look that bad two weeks PP?

I think it's pretty unusual, but I nursed exclusively (no formula) for 15 months and think I only leaked ONCE during the night and used no nursing pads. So it does happen. That being said, I still think her whole pregnancy was fake.

well, she's in good company. I did the same thing but on BOTH sides and didn't realize it until AFTER I finished teaching 3 sections. Oh,and it was probably all the more lovely b/c I too was wearing a white shirt.

This is so wrong on so many levels. What happened to her hair? I would expect that it might not look so great right now, but it looks like it has been hacked off.

I think she would look a lot happier if she had some stretchy pants on. And a T-shirt. Why try to do this the hard way? I can see the tears in her eyes. And everywhere else for that matter!

The poor woman needs to be at home resting. she doesn't look bad, just wiped out. The bra thing is funny, but I'm sure it's happened to a lot of people.

That was SO planned. It is all part of their plan to prove that Katie really did have a baby. Why else wear a nursing bra without the baby with you? Especially with that kind of shirt. I can only imagine their conversations at home about their strategic plans about everything they do.

And yes, I agree, she does look very, very tired. Poor thing.

Poor thing. That would embarrass the heck out of me.

Yeah I would have worn a silk shirt. The only time my breasts ever leaked was in the AM when they were pretty darn full though. And it was always in the shower...I never once wore a nursing pad that wasn't a Soothies.

Did she really HAVE a baby? I'm sorry, but I just can't settle on an answer for that one. Regardless, all I can say is that I feel bad for the poor girl, and God help the child, if there is one.

ETA: Sorry again, but I can't stop. Like a PP mentioned, I have to question why the nursing bra if she's out without the baby. And, please tell me the truth, is there anyone out there who really has no little fat pouch 2 weeks after giving birth? The shirt doesn't look to be the type that would hide it at all and I really think that even the skinnest mommies and low weigh gainers would still have some belly remaining for a few weeks. Ah, to be so lucky :)

It happens.
She most definitely needs to get some rest though.

I think with pads wearing silk is doable. It really depends on how much a person leaks and what kind of pads are used.

I always wore a nursing bra, the whole time I was nursing. I didn't have any other bras that fit since I was a 32F when nursing and a 32D before.

I was even known to wear a nursing bra after I quit nursing. Sometimes you have to go with what is clean!! :)

Andrea.. I have no real source for my gossip. I just have read such speculation numerous times on internet gossip sites. Pinkisthenewblog questions the legitimacy of her pregnancy all the time and I was intriqued by that photo collection (forget what trash magazine) where she looked very PG one day and not at all the next.
It's just one of those gossip items I have a hard time not running with :)
It's hard to fathom that anyone (even someone who could still be attracted to TC) would fake a pregnancy.. but I still can't help but wonder.

I didn't use nursing pads either, and never leaked. Just depends on the person.

Same here. All my non-nursing bras were underwire and way too uncomfortable to wear, even when the baby wasn't with me.

She just looks like a frazzled new mom! I used to forget to reattach my cups, ALL the time. That's why I never wore slinky shirts, though a few times they leaked through my shirt anyway. So glad I didn't have the media trailing ME!! I also wore my nursing bras from my first pregnancy to 1.5 years ago, a few months after I stopped nursing #2! Why would a nursing mom not wear a nursing bra, even if her kid isn't with her?

However, it looks like she knows she's being photographed. hmmmm.... maybe she's too tired to fight it. I feel sorry for her, dealing with psycho Tom.

Another who has never needed to use nursing pads! It really does depend on the person - my sister had to wear them the entire time she nursed both of my nieces.

LMAO, I hadn't thought of that, but I do remember the Katie pregnancy photo montage (which website had it? Pink?) about whether or not her bump was real.

I do feel awfully for her. Did you see her at the MI3 Premiere? Can you IMAGINE going to something like that 2 weeks PP?
