It's been ages since I've been able to spend any time on the boards, but I just wanted to thank you guys for all the support you've given me this past year, and give a few updates.
Colwyn has been in speech therapy for six months and has made HUGE progress. It's truly remarkable. He just had his reassessment, and no longer qualifies for services, but our therapist suggested we apply for a waiver and clinical judgement because she thinks Colwyn could still benefit from services. I posted a few times about Lachlann's incessant grumpiness and fussing in his early months. I'm happy to say that Lachlann is a changed man (okay, baby). He seemed to get happier once he could sit up and play properly, but the huge improvement was once he started crawling. I had suspected that, like my younger sister, he just wasn't going to be happy until he could be on the move, and I was right. Lachlann is like my younger sister in so many ways, too.. it's kind of scary to think about what his future might hold. ;) But he is a sweetheart and adores his big brother.
So, anyway.. thanks for listening to me complain and for giving me support. You guys are so great, and it's wonderful to know that I can always come here if I have questions.. or if I'm just looking to be cheered up. :)
