I'm overwhelmed by all of the websites for birth announcements - any suggestions? I'd like announcements that include a picture, and nothing too cutesy. I'd also like something that looks like good quality (Crane, Sweet Pea Designs, etc. - although knockoffs are definitely fine) but is reasonably priced (less than $2 per announcement). Thanks so much for any suggestions!

I have always bought my invitations and announcements from www.finestationary.com. It has a good selection, and is a really good website for selecting your card (you can personalize and see the card with your wording). I have always been really pleased with them. That being said, it is not cheap.

I was going to buy announcements for my ds from www.warmfuzzys.net which offers a 25% discount, but I got frustrated with the website (I was still in the hospital and the keyboard wasn't the easiest to use). It has gotten some good reviews on the Best & Worst Web Sites board. I am hoping to try them out next time.

i don't know if they're less than $2. ea, but i used inababycarriage.com for my dd's announcements. it was a really easy and fast process. i've also seen some cute stuff at tinyprints.com and some of those seem pretty cheap.

We used www.mangoink.com (thanks to imariana) & they were fabulous. Their customer service was excellent as well. I think they were $2 a card but worth every penny as they totally customized the card for us.

We used Purple Stork also and received many compliments. Everyone asked if we had professional photographs taken. They were wonderful to work with!

I didn't use Purple Stork, but I am almost 100% positive that I received an announcement from Purple Stork (I cannot find it right now), and it was beautiful!! My dh (who never voices an opinion about these things) said that he wanted to get a similar announcement for our new baby.

I used Stork Avenue (http://www.storkavenue.com/) and was very pleased with the quality and service. I ordered the announcements on Thursday and they were in my mailbox by Monday. Their customer service was great to work with. I highly recommend them.

These photo announcements are beautiful (and unbelieveably reasonable):

$1/ 4"x6" card + envelope

I ordered 100 before DS arrived and had Julie send the envelopes ahead of time so I could address them. After DS arrived I e-mailed her the pics, and she put it together and got the announcements to us very fast. We received so many compliments on the cards. I'll attach the proof for you.
