media use in families: here's a study

Since t.v. use has been a topic of conversation here recently, I thought I'd pass along this new research study. It doesn't really draw any conclusions, just reports on how/how much/why families and children use t.v., computers, video games, etc.

Yes, indeedy, there are lots of really young kids with t.v.s in their rooms, apparently.

I thought it was pretty interesting, especially the quotes from the parents they interviewed.

Fascinating study, and I thought carefully written to be neutral. 20% of kids under one have a TV in their rooms? Wow.
