Inexpensive digital camera recommendations?

Hello,

I dropped my digital camera a while back and the zoom stopped working. I've been using it that way, but have decided it is time to get a new one. I would like to spend under $200, but will spend a little more for the right camera.

Mostly I want it to take pics of dd, of course. I would like to be able to blow the pics up and would love if it did not take terribly long after I took a pic to be able to take the next one.

I will appreciate any recommendations.
