How neat is this? Hopefully the Mama deer comes to find her babies soon - and lucky for her and the babies that my brother spotted them in time!

Petra, mother deer typically leave the fawns while they go in search of food. The mother will then return and move them to a different location within 24-48 hours. Many sources do not think it is a good idea to touch them or get to close as the scent of humans may lead the mother to abandon them. They are sure cute, though.

I'm sure my Mom will be keeping an eye on them until the mother comes back, not to worry.

One way or another they had to be moved out of the way of the tractor and mower...

Awww they are adorable! How neat to see them up close!!!! I hope mama comes back for them soon!

OMG, how absolutely precious! I would be giddy all day over that experience, but I'm an animal/wildlife nut! Please update us on whether the mama shows up!
