I leave in 11 days to Sedona,AZ for a vacation. DH and my self would just like to relax. The kids dd 2 and dd 15 may be bored. What kid stuff is out there for them to do? I know dd age 15 will be telling me over and over again that she is bored.

Your 15 year-old should have a blast at Slide Rock (here's their website: (http://tinyurl.com/ms4ox). Just be sure to wear clothes and shoes that you don't mind tossing out because the red dirt is very hard, if not impossible, to get out in the laundry. Also, there are lots of places to go horseback riding there, in case that would be of interest.

I was going to say Slide Rock, too. We were in Sedona in the summer of 03, it was great! We stayed at a nice hotel with a couple of great pools: one for adults and one for families, they also had a game bungalow with games and a snack bar.

We also visited the Grand Canyon and the Hopi Reservation, very cool but some driving involved.

Definitely Slide Rock - lots of fun. There are tons of places to hike around there. There's also an outlet mall if she's like most 15 year olds (it's not great, but it's there). You're also only about 45 min. away from Flagstaff which is a college town, so that may be an option too (I don't know how long you'll be staying in Sedona). Expect lots of people though. When it gets hot in Phoenix, we all migrate north! :)
